State of Play revealed the release date of the FIST game and detailed its protagonist.

During his last state of play Sony showed a trailer for the game Fist: Shadow-Forged Torch, a game in which a rabbit full of skills appears in the role of the main character. The game belongs to the genre of platforming and exploration, and its release date is confirmed in the trailer. The game takes place in the city of Torch City, a world created by animals that has suddenly been invaded by machines that want to destroy everyone and everything, and now Rayton must use his skills and fist to become a great savior to eliminate threats.

Featuring 2D gameplay, the game is fully 3D modeled and built with Unreal Engine 4, its environment is very detailed and brings a unique tone to the gameplay. The developers of the game claim that the main idea was that the main character of the game would be a person, but they changed their mind when they realized that the animal character would be more versatile, and among cats or dogs … the rabbit was the chosen one!

That’s where Rayton, the bunny with two long ears, was born to excel at side-platformers. It will be a character of the race, considered weak and possessing vulnerabilities, who will show strength and command respect wherever he goes.

In the backstory, this mechanical fist was taken from the armor that Rayton wore in the war against aggression 6 years ago, but in the end the battle failed. We decided that Rayton would use a fist instead of a pair, because an unbalanced and incomplete appearance would be the outward symbol of his psychological trauma from defeat in the war. “
