“After 642 days, our dear Amanda Vanessa has been discharged from the Real Português hospital and is already in a rehabilitation clinic in Florence (Recife), which brought a photo of the smiling singer.

In the post, the relatives explained that Amanda Vanessa went to a rehabilitation clinic. “We have never stopped believing. And we will unwaveringly continue. How far are we still to go? Yes. But the one who started a good deed is faithful in its implementation,” they wrote.

This was the first photo of Amanda Vanessa that the family has released since she was hospitalized in 2021. On the day of the accident, the singer’s father was also in the car, whose hospitalization was not required; her daughter Mel, then 6 years old, had the operation, and her friend Yussara Pimentel, who also recovered.

The singer’s husband, Dobson Santos, stayed by her side and updated fans on social media about the artist’s evolution and the couple’s daughter, Mel, who was discharged shortly after the accident. When the accident turned a year old, Dobson said he was still confident in his wife’s rehabilitation.

On January 4, 2021, Amanda Vanessa was driving with three other passengers when she collided with a truck on PE-60, at the height of Rio Formoso. The artist’s car was destroyed (see video above).

On June 9, 2021, the police reported that during the examination it was established that the singer was driving at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour. The investigation was completed without identifying those responsible for the accident.

The Pernambuco Ministry of State (MPPE) closed the case. The Court of Pernambuco (TJPE) understood that the accident was “solely the fault of the victim”.
