The derailment occurred on Wednesday early morning on the line at Stonehaven, British Transportation Police (BTP) claimed in a
tweet.
Speaking to the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday afternoon, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said there experienced been early studies of major accidents and outlined that the area experienced endured from substantial storms.
