Colin Yost, husband of Scarlett Johansson, will reveal in a stand-up comedy show that the actress is pregnant with the couple’s first child, confirming rumors in the international press that the actress was pregnant.
According to the online newspaper Page Six, Colin Yost mentioned during a show he hosted at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut, United States of America that the couple was expecting a baby. This appears to be a confirmation of a rumor published by the newspaper in July when it announced the actress’s pregnancy.
Rumors began to surface when Scarlett Johansson did not appear in several promotional events for the actress’s new film, Black Widow. “She hasn’t done many interviews or events to promote the film, which is surprising considering this is a major Marvel / Disney release and she is a star and executive producer,” a source told the newspaper.
The actress only appeared in interviews made virtually for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and on The Seth Meyers Show.
This is not Scarlett Johansson’s first child. The actress has a six-year-old daughter named Rosa from a previous marriage to French journalist Romain Dauriac. In October 2020, the actress remarried comedian Colin Yost after three years of dating.
Scarlett Johansson was already striving to return to the big screen, becoming a mother. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actress will be signing a new film by Wes Anderson, starring Margot Robbie, Tom Hanks, Adrien Brody, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman and Tilda Swinton.
The actress is also suing Disney for alleged breach of contract after the production company released Black Widow on a streaming platform, which could affect the actress’s salary as it depends on the box office in theaters.
