Samsung’s new processor with AMD GPU is impressive

Anyway, the source explains that the test chip has a rather old processor, as it is based on the Arm Cortex-A77 cores used in the previous generation (Dimensity 1000, Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 980). Of course, these benchmarks target GPUs, but CPUs do their part too. With a new, well-optimized architecture, possibly based on next-generation Arm designs, the scores could be even higher.

In any case, Samsung is expected to introduce Exynos chips with an AMD GPU relatively soon, with rumors talking about a presentation as early as July.
