As we’ve mentioned several times, the arrival of Android 12 hasn’t been easy or hassle-free. Both Samsung and OnePlus presented their new versions, but they soon had to back down and fix the problems.

After the problems presented, Samsung was able to focus on resolving and solving them. Now, a week after the retreat, One UI 4 is available again and allows it to be installed on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3.

Recent problems with One UI 4

One UI 4 is Samsung's bet on the future of its smartphones. Based on Android 12, it brings together all the news that Google has created in the last few months in all areas that have been focused on this new version.

Launched for the Galaxy S21, which presented no issues, it is now the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 to access this new feature. Problems quickly arose and several smartphones were locked.

Android 12 went back to Samsung and removed this version from the update list for its foldable smartphones and tried to identify the causes of the problems. Thus, it was possible to prevent the spread of problems and affect more smartphones.

Now that they've been able to tackle all the problems, Samsung has decided to open up access to this update again. He is also limited by his country of origin, South Korea, in order to accurately control the volume of this new version.

Samsung is now expected to finalize the new version of One UI 4 to expand its presence in other markets. This version of Android 12 is expected to arrive on many other Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 smartphones by the end of 2021.

Apart from these two smartphones, Samsung continues to prepare this update for less recent models. One UI 4 is already in development for the Galaxy S20, which will soon receive Android 20.
