Over the past few days, there have been several rumors about Samsung’s new Galaxy S22, including even revealing possible images of the final product designs. There is still a lot more to know, however, and there is now news regarding the battery.

apparentlySamsung is steadily moving forward to start mass production of the new Galaxy S22, and in order to meet this challenge, the company may go back to a name that some users might recognize.

According to the latest rumors, the Galaxy S22 may rely on batteries from Amperex Technology Limited (ATL), which is more of the battery manufacturer that came with the Galaxy Note 7.

The company appears to have surpassed all of Samsung’s safety expectations and can now begin manufacturing batteries for the company’s new devices that hit the market. It will also give Samsung more freedom to manufacture more devices.

Note that ATL is already supplying batteries for the Galaxy A and M line devices, but it is only now starting to receive manufacturing certifications for the brand’s more “premium” models.

As you’d expect, none of the companies are commenting on rumors about a possible battery production or the Galaxy S22 in general.
