According to publications on the social network Twitter, the flight made an emergency landing after passengers reported a fire on board the plane.
“All passengers were taken to the bus by the French police,” says one of the publications, which contains images of the plane, which was received by several firefighters.
According to the FlightAware portal, the flight, which departed from Manchester at 18:33, was supposed to arrive in Faro at 21:30.
