SIC commentators Nuno Rogueiro and José Milhazes analyzed the Lithuanian blockade of Kaliningrad, attacks on Donetsk, Russia’s position in the war and rocket attacks on Odessa, among other things, in the Jornal da Noite magazine on Tuesday.
SIC commentator Jose Milhazes believes that the Lithuanian blockade of Kaliningrad does not contribute to the “de-escalation” of the war: “Russia is using all possible and impossible arguments to turn this issue in its favor.”
Live on the SIC Jornal da Noite magazine, he explains that Kaliningrad is an exclave, not an enclave.
BUT Russia threatened to retaliate if Lithuania continues to block the movement of goods between the country and the Kaliningrad enclave.
He also emphasizes that Russia has always tried to show NATO’s involvement in the conflict: “The Russians always indicate that NATO-supplied weapons were used.”
“With regard to Odessa, everything will depend on how the situation develops,” he adds.
SIC commentator Nuno Rogueiro believes that Russia is making “some miscalculations.”
“Russia knows it has hot potatoes in its hands,” he adds.
In SIC, the commentator also shows a photograph of a prison in Moscow where “some of the worst crimes of the 20th century” were committed and where 20 Azovstal commanders are currently being held.
