Many years have passed since then spoke remasters of some Rockstar Games games, mostly Red Dead Redemption.

Now there is unofficial information that Grand Theft Auto IV is also on the list of plans to receive a remaster along with the eternal Red Dead Redemption remaster.

This news is provided by an insider, thanks wccftechstating that Rockstar has shelved intentions to put the Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption remaster on the shelf due to the poor reception of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

“According to a reliable source, and with apparent accuracy about Rockstar’s plans, GTA IV and RDR1 remasters were on the table a few years ago, but Rockstar decided not to go ahead with those projects.

The poor reception of the DE (Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition) trilogy may be the reason for this decision.”
