Latin fusion and rock guitarist Carlos Santana has registered his home on Kauai Island, Hawaii, for $ 2.995 million.

That’s around $ 300,000 more than he paid for the place last year, records show.

Located at the end of a road with palm trees, this plantation is about 1.5 hectares in the city of Anahola. Built in 2004, this one-story house has high ceilings with exposed beams, clerestories that carry wind and window walls centered on the sea. About 1,300 square feet of Ipe exterior wood decking were recently repaired.

Tropical palms and landscaping adorn this property, which has a spa and fire pit. The guest house with private lanais and spa is located opposite the main residence. Overall, the structure combines for four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and around 4,000 square feet of living space.

Andana rock mainstay for decades, Santana, 70, formed a namesake rock band in the 1960s and gained fame in decades followed by hit records such as “Abraxas,” “Lotus” and “Amigos.” His 1990 album “Supernatural” won a Grammy for the best album, while the single “Smooth” won an award for the best record and best song of the year.

He and his band were appointed to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

Harvest Edmonds from Emerald Isle Properties holds the listing.
