Raquel Rosario, former ‘ex’ Fernando Alonso, rescued her son from a cougar attack

A Singer Raquel del Rosario, ex-wife of pilot Fernando Alonso, said on her Instagram page that she saved her youngest son from a cougar attack.

On Sunday, October 17, the artist decided to share with the world this episode, which took place on August 26.

Raquel del Rosario said the five-year-old went to the backyard to pick fruit. “The scream I heard a few seconds later still resonates in my head, just like the image I saw when I turned around,” he blurted out.

“The cougar pounced on him and violently attacked him with her claws. […] Even today I cannot understand how I crossed the garden in milliseconds or where the force came from that made me beat the animal with my fists repeatedly until it came out, ”he shared.

With the help of their current partner, Pedro Castro, who showed up shortly thereafter, “they managed to get into the house without any problem, as they told the neighbors and went to the hospital.”

In the same publication, he also highlighted the words of the doctor who treated his son: “A few more millimeters, and I would not have done it.”

“My heart was broken when I saw him come out of the operation. All the forces that invaded me this morning disappeared, leaving me completely helpless in the face of pain that I was completely unaware of. Fear gripped me, ”he later admitted.

“If someone had told me at that moment, seeing my condition, that in three days he would run away from the hospital, I would never have believed.” Mom, I’m not coming back for the fruit, so the tiger is not “Don’t be angry,” he added, quoting the boy’s words.

“These weeks we have gone through this pain, feeling and accepting, without running away from it. We again found refuge in nature, unpredictable, like a wild animal or a volcanic eruption, but at the same time healing and magical, ”he continued.

In another publication, he said that when they returned home from a nearby hospital, various media outlets appeared and also received several “letters from neighbors, gifts and food.”

In addition, Raquel del Rosario also said that on the day of the incident, when she returned home to “take something to the hospital,” she spoke to the authorities, who “found that the cougar was still in her garden.”

“They were forced to kill him. We would have preferred, and I know, that they would do it, so that the result with respect to the animal was different, but this decision was not up to us, ”he added.

“From the window, I watched another cougar, his brother, return to the garden with his mother. She stood next to the body of her lifeless son, and we exchanged looks of pain that I will never forget (you cannot imagine the dreams that I was with her.) I left the house with a broken heart and endless embarrassed feelings about everything that had happened, but at that moment I could only think about protecting Leo.
