PT’s widow says Bolsonaro is ‘politically exploiting’ tragedy

Civilian police officer Pamela Suellen Silva, wife of PT treasurer Marcelo Arruda, who was killed last Saturday (07/09), said she sees the president’s attempt to use the tragedy for political purposes. Through Federal Deputy Otoni de Paulo (MDB-RJ), Jair Bolsonaro on Tuesday (December 7) made a video call to the brothers P.T.

“I think Bolsonaro is worried about the political repercussions because both in the video he made in the arena and in the fact that he is talking to the Marcelo brothers, Bolsonaro says that they are trying to blame him,” Pamela told a journalistic column. Beautiful Megale.

Pamela said that she found out about the president’s call to her husband’s brothers only when she received a video recording of the conversation. She says she was not invited and received no contact either from Bolsonaro or from the government offering her solidarity.

“He [Bolsonaro] sought them out because these two brothers are supporters of Bolsonaro, supporters of right-wing ideas. There were always these debates between them, but they respected each other, and each went on with his life,” he said.

Commenting on the case on Monday, the president said he had “nothing to do” with the crime, but suggested that the “history of violence” was repeating itself “on the other side.” He also said that Marcelo threw a stone at the car of the shooter Jorge José da Rocha Guaragno.

Marcelo’s widow called the president’s speech “absurd” and said he was trying to “distort the truth.” Pamela also added that she would agree to take part in the meeting on the condition that she give a press conference with a report on the facts that had happened. “I wouldn’t agree to go just to take a picture.”
