Sao Paulo state PSOL president João Paulo Rillo says his PT colleague Luis Marinho was “inelegant” in his handling of the possibility of the party being on the ticket for the Sao Paulo government. Fernando Haddad.

Marinho told the Panel that PSOL would not add Haddad to the vice presidency and criticized a proposal to have PSOL national president Juliano Medeiros run for the Senate. PT said he preferred a black woman for the job.

“It was an inelegant and unfortunate thought of his [Marinho] with PSOL and Juliano, who was very loyal and diplomatic and was instrumental in our support for Lula,” Rillo said.

He says that Medeiros never put himself forward as a candidate and that his name was mentioned by some PSOL leaders.

The leader also states that he recognizes that the PSB will have an advantage on the list if it withdraws its candidacy for the Marcio França government, but that the PSOL can also claim participation.

“PSOL has political weight and withdrew the candidacy [Guilherme] Bulos to the government, which had two figures in the polls, on behalf of the bloc,” he said.

Regarding Medeiros’ low level of knowledge, Rillo said it’s okay because it’s a new name. “Everyone who is known today was once unknown. Giuliano is an important political leader, he has powers.”
