PSI-20 said goodbye to the week, rising 0.77% to 5,146.87 points, a two-week high and the largest gain in any major European stock exchange.
The index showed that 11 of the 18 listed companies rose, while two – Ibersol and Novabase – closed unchanged, and five ended the day in the red.
The main impetus for PSI-20 was a 3.99% rise in Jerónimo Martins share prices to € 16.15, the highest in 15 months. Altri also rose 3.91% to 5.45 euros on Friday following the announcement of the initial public offering (IPO) date of its renewable energy subsidiary GreenVolt.
Also notice the 2.24% CTT that closed above € 5 at € 5.01 for the first time since October 31, 2017.
In the energy sector, the EDPR rose 0.96% to € 19.99, while REN rose 0.64% to € 2.35, the EDP rose 0.13% to € 4.586. Galp, on the other hand, fell 0.23% to € 9.42 on the day as investors await OPEC + decision on crude oil production.
The biggest gains in Lisbon came from BCP, which fell 1.97% to 13.45 cents after falling financials in Europe.
Corticeira Amorim shares also fell 1.82% to € 10.78.
