The French champions are finalizing Kimpembe’s move to Chelsea and are preparing an offer for the Lions centre-back. A club that has Luis Campos as a sports advisor will be willing to put up some goal bonuses. In April, the player extended his contract by moving to Sporting until 2026.

Gonzalo Inacio is on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain and the club in the French capital is already preparing an offer to present to the lions. This, according to O JOGO, should start with a base amount of 30 million euros, leaving Sporting with the option of receiving an additional amount if certain goals are met.

Remember the Ligue 1 champions want to bolster their side with a centre-back in the face of the imminent departure of Kimpembe, whose move to Chelsea is nearing completion. Moreover, in addition to the French player, other central defenders of the current Paris squad may also leave, namely the Spaniard Sergio Ramos, whose performance in the 2021/22 season did not live up to expectations.

For Sporting’s structure, the SAD board and 20-year-old Gonzalo Inacio’s technical team are seen as an important element, and a possible exit is only considered if an irrefutable offer comes in. For this it is not necessary that the values set in the termination clause, which is 45 million euros, be reached, but the club wants an amount that is not far from this. Other approaches, in particular from Newcastle, but the magpies were unlucky precisely because they stay away from these values.

PSG now have Luís Campos as a sports advisor and one of the first to sign for the club, which he guaranteed, was Vitinha, a Portuguese midfielder who was a former Porto player. Renato Sanches is another Portuguese on his way to the Parisians (see pp. 22-23), who still has the Portuguese Danilo and Nuno Mendes in the team. The latter was finally acquired from Sporting this season in exchange for 38 million euros after a loan that brought in 7 million.

Four trophies in 70 games

Gonzalo Inacio won four trophies for Sporting in two seasons: one championship, one Super Cup and two League Cups. He made his senior debut on 4 October 2020 at the age of 19 in a 2-0 win over Portimonense. Ruben Amorim used it in 70 matches, mostly playing to the right of the center trio, but also lining up in the middle and left. En route to 21, the under-21 international had already been called up by Fernando Santos to AA but was never used.
