This Saturday, protesters took to the streets (3) to protest against President Jair Bolsonaro (without party) and in defense of the Covid-19 vaccination.

As with similar acts in May and June, the demonstrations were peaceful. In general, the protesters asked for more vaccines, impeachment of Bolsonar and the return of emergency aid for 600 reais.

Most of the protesters were wearing masks. At times there was a crowd of people, despite warnings of social distancing.

Even in the rain, many protesters took to the streets this Saturday (3) to protest in Alagoas against the government of President Jair Bolsonaro (no party) and in defense of the Covid-19 vaccination. Promotions take place in Maceio and Arapiraka. In Penedo and Palmeira dos Endios, planned protests were canceled due to rain.

In Maceio, with Brazilian flags and “Fora Bolsonaro” signs, protesters are calling for more vaccines, demanding impeachment from the president, and criticizing the federal government’s response to the pandemic.

In Anapolis, 55 km from the capital, protesters gathered with banners and placards in the Plaza Americano do Brasil in the city center. They asked for vaccines for everyone, the return of emergency aid in the amount of R $ 600 and Bolsonaro’s departure from the presidency. The act ended at about 12:00.

There were also protests in the cities of Catalao, Jatai and Rio Verde against the Bolsonaro government.

They also support indigenous peoples’ struggles over land demarcation and criticize police actions that have resulted in deaths.

Arasatuba and Jales also protested against Bolsonaro.
