Two-time British Open champion Greg Norman has registered a trophy farm in Meeker, Colorado, for $ 40 million.

Called Seven Lakes Ranch, the 11,900-hectare ranch is located in White River Valley in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area with views of the valley, river and mountains. The property, which stretches across parts of the White River, includes a large hut, cabin, saloon / dance hall, shooting range and horse track.

The 13,907-square-foot cottage, designed in a wooden cabin style, has a vaulted ceiling, a rustic bar and eight bedrooms. The two-sided moss stone fireplace divides the two large rooms, which enjoy the view through floor-to-ceiling windows. Home theater is equipped with saddle style seating. The lakeside stone terrace extends the outdoor living room.

A small river, pond and seven mountain lakes are scattered throughout the area, which every year witnesses one of the largest deer and deer migrations in the Rocky Mountains. Sungai Putih, famous for its trout population, is home to many varieties including rainbow, chocolate and chocolate trout.

Norman, 65, assembled farm properties for two decades and has used it as a family retreat.

Professional golfers and entrepreneurs have 89 tournament wins for his career including 20 PGA Tour wins and two British Open Championships. He was appointed to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2001.

Brian Smith from Hall & Hall holds the listing.
