Former Lakers player and coach Byron Scott has bought a house in Granada Hills for $ 1.9 million, according to records.

Built in 1996, this two-story house combines hand-painted murals, thick columns, and marble details to create an intricate interior of Versailles flavor.

The 4,400-square-foot ornamental living room includes a two-story living room with a large fireplace, a traditional dining room, a theater, five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The kitchen of the dining chef offers a wide cooking island. A golden-cutting staircase connects the two floors.

French doors open onto a covered terrace with a dining room and a drop-down projection screen. Cabana with full kitchen, dressing room, saltwater swimming pool, and spa are some of the outdoor facilities. In the side yard, there is a full size basketball court.

The house previously changed hands in 2013 for $ 960,000, according to records. It has been registered since March at $ 1,899 million.

As a player, Scott spent more than a decade with the Lakers during the Showtime era, winning three championships. As a coach, the 59-year-old NBA coach won this year’s award with the New Orleans Hornets in 2008 and served as the Lakers head coach from 2014 to 2016.

He has spent the past few years working as an NBA analyst for ESPN.

Nairy Stepanyan from Coldwell Banker Hallmark Realty is a listing agent. Taria Lewis from Tolbert and Assoc. representing the buyer.
