A prisoner who cut a pedophile’s face with a razor in England was sentenced to another five years in prison.
Daniel Andrews, 28, attacked Jordan Murray after learning that he was arrested for sex crimes against children. Mirror… The incident occurred in 2019 when two men were held in the medical wing of the HMP Altcourse prison in Liverpool.
The court decided to extend the prison term for Andrews, who was already serving a seven-year sentence. He had 39 convictions for 75 crimes.
The attack occurred when Murray was summoned by Andrews while returning to his cell. Even though they did not know him, they continued to talk, and during that time, he eventually told him the reason why he was convicted. Before Andrews struck, Murray recalls Andrews telling him, “I don’t like people who talk to children.”
Murray was taken to the emergency room where he had over 100 stitches. He has a 15-centimeter scar on his right cheek.
The prison guard asked Andrews why he attacked another inmate. The man claimed to have heard voices telling him about it. “He has two victims. Think about them, ”he added.
Peter Eguet, Andrews’ attorney, recalled in court that Andrews was in the medical unit at the time of the attack due to mental health problems.
In a note written by Murray to the court and summarized by a lawyer, the man said that whenever he sees a scar, he recalls the attack.
