In fact, the president was admitted to the CHUC emergency room last Wednesday with a neurological problem the next day. However, the situation has not undergone favorable changes, so today, at 5 pm, the medical team of the neurological service informed him that he would not be discharged and that he would have to undergo other treatment in the next few days.

Given the situation, the President informed the Board of the General Assembly about his obstacle, as well as his desire for the General Assembly, even in this case, to take place, given the delicate moment that the Academician is going through.

The President also advised that he delegate the reading of the two speeches he prepared for the GA to Vice President Gustavo Mote.
