According to the head of the Angolan state, one of the tasks of the new minister of state and the head of the House of Security will be to “eliminate all real ghosts” that exist in the defense and security agencies. As part of Operation Crab, which is still under investigation, Angolan Armed Forces (ABC) Major Pedro Lussati has been arrested and several high-ranking generals in the Republic’s President’s Security House have been arrested and fired in recent days. In this sense, the current representative of the executive branch defended the need to put an end to such harmful practices, also counting on the cooperation of the whole society.

Transparency and crime prevention

In this sense, the head of the Angolan state spoke in favor of increasing the rigor and transparency of bank managers in the management of the treasury. “The behavior and procedures of banks are abnormal, we must change,” the head of state warned, demanding more decisive and decisive action from the Central Bank and the Financial Information Department.
