Pozo Verde public television president denies political support for Valadares Filho

Former Mayor of Pozo Verde and president of the municipal public service broadcasting service Tonjo de Dorigno announced on Wednesday (15) political support for the re-election of federal deputy Gustinho Ribeiro (Solidarity).

As a result, former federal MP Valadares Filho, who chairs the Sergipe State Broadcasting Council, has no political leader involved in his project to return to the Chamber of Deputies.

Before Tonjo de Dorinha disembarked from Valadares Filho’s boat, the mayor of Siriri Ze de Rosa had already announced his withdrawal from public service due to opposition to party support for Rogerio Carvalho’s (PT) tentative nomination for governor of the state.

Ever since he backed the toucan Esio Neves in 2014 and approved the impeachment of Dilme in 2016, Valadares Filho, increasingly weakened politically, has amassed a streak of electoral losses.

The son of former Senator Valadares has been watching the withering of public television in Sergipe, a party that pulled out of the 2020 elections with just four state councilors and just two mayors, including Ze de Rosa, who recently asked to leave.

With no direction after the defeat suffered last year by Daniel Garcia (Podemos), Sergio Moro’s political project in the state, Valadares Filho is now seeking an alliance with the PT, the party of Eliana Aquino, the lieutenant governor who was eventually removed from positions. a claim filed by the PSB.
