The 54-year-old Portuguese was attacked after nearly knocking down a couple and their young son at a pedestrian crossing in Picassenta, Spain.

Images provided by the Guardia Civil and captured by CCTV show that the Portuguese driver, when changing direction to the left, did not respect pedestrian priority and ended up crossing the vehicle in front of the couple who followed the baby carriage. Realizing what had happened and the seriousness of the situation, the driver got out of the car and apologized.

However, the child’s father ended up punching the Portuguese, causing him to fall to the ground and hitting his head hard.

Several people approached the site and helped the driver, who was unconscious.

In the end, the aggressor also helped put the victim in a safe position when he realized the consequences of his act, but when the authorities were called, he left the place before his arrival.

The Portuguese, who was seriously injured, was taken to the local clinic and then to the Valencia hospital. After being discharged, he filed a complaint.

The 32-year-old attacker was eventually identified by the authorities and is now charged with bodily harm and vehicle damage for kicking him.
