Portuguese Football Championship returns to stadiums – Nacional

The audience will return to the stadiums for the next football season. This information was confirmed on Friday 9 July by an official statement from the Portuguese league to the newsroom. The decision came after several meetings in which both the government of Antonio Costa and the Directorate General of Health (DGS) participated.

“After the meetings held in recent weeks with the government and the State Duma, today [sexta-feira, 9] has defined the standard that will apply to the return of the public to the stadiums, ”the newspaper said in a statement. “Public”

Although the standard is expected to be published shortly for public comment, The Liga Portugal says that although the return of the public to the stadiums has been confirmed, the capacity will be “limited to 33%”.

“Professional competitions will start with a probability of 33% of the hall capacity, and ticket holders must present a digital certificate confirming full vaccination, negative test result. Regardless, the rules will not be fixed, and the bandwidth restrictions may be revised during the season – always depending on the development of the pandemic in the country.

The start of the Premier League 2021/22 will take place on the weekend from 7 to 8 August. The last round of the championship will take place on May 15.
