Deputy Councilor and founder of the body surfing school Frank Correa (MDB) was shot and killed during a robbery in Restinga de Marica.
According to the information, the politician was driving his car in São José do Imbassai when he was pursued by criminals to Restinga de Maric. He was shot and taken by the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU) to the Conde Modesto Leal City Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
At night, the criminals hijacked two more cars and a liquor store. During the escape, the criminals exchanged shots with the military police at the height of Nancy Park and managed to escape.
Frank Correa is not at risk of his life, but will undergo tests to assess the damage caused by the gunshots.
