CD PROJEKT RED has revealed a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077’s spy thriller add-on Phantom Liberty at The Game Awards 2022. The teaser features new in-game and gameplay footage, as well as a new cast.
The teaser shown at the gala reveals a new area of Night City called Dogtown, the expansion’s main setting, as well as gameplay flashes and new additions. It also introduces new characters, the main one being Solomon Reed.
Played by actor Idris Elba (Luther, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, Sonic the Hedgehog, Suicide Squad), who joined the cast of Phantom Liberty alongside Keanu Reeves playing Johnny Silverhand, Reed is an agent Veteran New United. States of America and seemingly the only person players can trust to help them complete an impossible mission of espionage and survival.

Following the teaser climax, the actor addressed viewers and gamers around the world in a special video commenting on Reed’s character and his role in the Phantom Liberty story.
