Ironwood Studios recently unveiled the Pacific Drive project they are currently working on.

Ironwood Studios was established in 2019 and is comprised of highly experienced video game professionals from studios such as Sucker Punch Productions, Insomniac Games, Irrational, Klei, 343, Bungie, Activision and Oculus.

Pacific Drive is a survival game that combines driving elements with thrilling escapes, where players drive their cars like crazy to avoid many unexplained anomalies. Most of the game will take place behind the wheel of our car.

In essence, the players' car is the protagonist of Pacific Drive, being a faithful companion in charge of our survival or not.

At Pacific Drive, our base of operations is an abandoned garage where we can drive our car to our liking. Are you making the necessary repairs so you can transport us safely, or are you doing upgrades that enhance its capabilities, or are you just tweaking it.

What is happening outside (in the Zone), not fully disclosed, is dangerous, and therefore our car must be properly equipped for our small forays into the Zone.

Pacific Drive takes place on the west coast of the United States, so the main environment that we will see in the game is the dense forests of this part of the country. And it is in these forests that mysterious encounters with suddenly appearing anomalies await us and we will find out what is really happening.

And the last word is that the original soundtrack was composed by Wilbert Roger, II, as well as tracks by local bands from the Northwest region.

Pacific Drive will be released in 2023 on PC and Playstation 5.
