They are reconsidering their position.

The scandal at Activision Blizzard over the sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuit promises to shock the company for several reasons, one of which is sponsorship.

According to The Washington Post (thanks to Wccftech), several Overwatch League sponsors have requested that their ads be removed from events and are currently reviewing their support for Blizzard’s game.

Coca-Cola commented that “we are working with our partners at Blizzard as we step back for a moment to rethink our plans for the future,” and State Farm said it was reconsidering its relationship with the Overwatch League.

T-Mobile did not provide a press release for The Washington Post, but like Coca-Cola and State Farm, there will be no ads depicting these brands during Overwatch League broadcasts this weekend. Xfinity, IBM, Cheez-It, Pringles and TeamSpeak do not comment on the situation and their plans.

This is the latest issue for Activision Blizzard, which is currently in a lawsuit initiated by the state of California in the United States following several complaints related to improper workplace situations.

Through Jason Schreier, Bloomberg posted a new story in which more than 50 employees and former Blizzard employees report various incredible situations and explain how nothing was said until the lawsuit was being prepared.
