Other Apple Pencil features started working in Portuguese – MacMagazine

Resource Handwriting (Scribble) got compatibility with Português on iPadOS 14.5 last April. However, despite the fact that our language has gained acceptance, two other resources – data detectors (Data detectors) e Copy handwriting as typed text (Copy handwriting as text) – were excluded.

No more: Apple is now silently reporting that these features work in both Portuguese and German, Spanish, French and Italian.

Both functions are self-explanatory, but if you haven’t yet figured out what they do, keep in mind that you can now copy handwritten text and paste as typed; in addition, URLs and other content written in these languages ​​will also be displayed as interactive and interactive.

Of the writing / Apple Pencil related features, the only feature that still only works in English is calligraphy search (Searchable handwriting input).
