Benfica officially formalized the hiring of Roman Yaremchuk, how More football timely informed

The Ukrainian striker, still a Ghent athlete, arrived in Lisbon last night, completed the final formalities this Saturday and became a Orlov player.

In a statement to CMVM, SAD incarnate says it “acquired sports rights and 75 percent of economic rights” from Yaremchuk for 17 million euros.

The 25-year-old signed a contract until June 2016 with a termination clause of € 100 million.

A Gent alumnus, Yaremchuk represented Gent for four years: during this time he scored 61 goals in 152 matches. He is now moving to Luz to join Benfica’s strikers, which already include Seferovic, Darwin Nunez, Gonzalo Ramos, Carlos Vinicius and Rodrigo Pigno.

COMMUNICATION FROM BENFI:

“Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD (“ Benfica SAD ”) informs, in accordance with the terms and for the purposes of Article 248-A of the Portuguese Securities Code, that it has acquired sports rights and 75% property rights from player Roman Yaremchuk on 17 000,000 euros (seventeen million euros) in front of the KAA Gent. It is also reported that a sports employment contract has been signed with the aforementioned player until June 30, 2026, which includes a termination clause in the amount of € 100,000,000 (one hundred million euros). ”
