The hardware industry has never been as hot and hot as it is now. With component shortages, every little thing in the industry can make a difference.

The new Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card is one of the most requested on the market. And the latest news suggests that the manufacturer will increase production and prices will soon fall.

It was this February when Nvidia launched a GeForce RTX 3060 desktop graphics card that already has restrictions on cryptocurrency mining.

Thus, the GPU joined the previously released models of this line, but the shortage of chips was also unfavorable, and therefore only a few units are still available on the shelves. Not to mention, as you would expect, the price of this equipment has skyrocketed due to huge demand and very low supply. However, it looks like these winds will change direction.

RTX 3060 production will be increased and prices should come down

The latest news released seems to be opening a tunnel of hope for consumers looking to buy graphics cards. Last week, for example, we inform that the prices of Nvidia and AMD GPUs have already begun to decline to less significant megalomania.

But now there are more details in this regard that support this possible trend. According to the details, Nvidia will soon ramp up production of its GeForce RTX 3060, one of the most popular models in the lineup.

The information was released by the Chinese website. ITHome to which the North American manufacturer indicated that production of the RTX 3060 will increase from July next year. As a result, it is expected that the number of this model on the shelves will also increase in the coming weeks.

In addition, the price may change as well. The MSRP for this graphics card is $ 329, but as you would expect, available units in some stores have already hit over $ 1,000 in May. More recently, however, a GPU has cost about $ 700. But it is estimated that as production increases, the cost will fall further and may even reach the originally proposed value.

The GeForce RTX 3060 is indeed a highly demanded graphics card. And not even the hash rate limitation, which “cut off the legs” of the miners, did not leave more units in stores.
