Nike released the ‘Don’t Do It’ advertisement after the death of George Floyd

For once, Nike told her fans “Don’t Do It.”

But the round of his famous slogan is for a good cause: the announcement of public services overcoming racism after the death of George Floyd, who has caused protests throughout the country.

Instead of the slogan of the famous athletic company, “Just Do It”, the short Instagram video starts with the words, “Don’t Do It.”

“For once, don’t do it. Don’t pretend there are no problems in America. Don’t turn away from racism. Don’t accept innocent lives taken from us. Don’t make excuses again. Do not think this does not affect you. Don’t sit and be quiet, ” read posts all text, displaying white letters on a black background.

“Don’t think you can’t be part of the change,” said the ad posted Friday, before turning to read, “Let’s all be part of the change.”

Nike is known for overcoming racism, supporting Colin Kaepernick amid the controversy over his decision to kneel during the national anthem while NFL members protest peacefully.

Kaepernick then successfully lobbied Nike to pull the controversial Fourth of July shoe which featured the Betsy Ross flag, which was considered racially offensive, from its shelves.

Nike also previously worked with Kaepernick in the “Just Do It” ad campaign which received high praise.

In the ad, Kaepernick pleaded, “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything. “

Last year, the company partnered with Kaepernick to release sneakers with similarities that were sold out in one day.
