Nick Cordero continues to fight hard against coronavirus.
Wife Amanda Kloots’ latest update on the Broadway star, 41, revealed that her latest lung CT scan did not look too good.
“We did a CT scan in his lungs. Unfortunately, that isn’t the prettiest, “the fitness instructor shared Friday through Instagram. However, he remained optimistic when receiving encouragement from doctor Cordero.
“He told me today that although CT scans are not pretty on Nick’s chest and lung area, they are extraordinary and they can function, and we continue to think about the options we have and make them stronger,” he continued. “He said that he had seen his lungs heal and they did extraordinary things, so don’t give up because you never know what the function of something is based on images.”
Although his condition is severe, Kloots asserted that a lung transplant is likely to make matters worse, sharing on Thursday, “Unfortunately, at this time, we don’t think Nick can handle or survive a lung transplant, so there is nothing on the table for Nick when this.
“However,” he added, “one day, if he became strong enough, maybe that was something that could be a possibility for Nick. But right now, it’s impossible. He will not survive. He is too weak. “
