Nick Cannon continues to mourn his five-month-old son who died of a brain tumor. The famous TV presenter explained why he and the boy’s mother chose not to resort to invasive methods of treatment, preferring to provide the baby with a comfortable life, no matter how short it may be.

We started asking, “Is there a way to prevent death? If not, what time do we have? Conversations quickly turned to “How can we give him a better life in the time he has left? It could be weeks. ” , months, years, ”he reflected in an interview with People magazine.

Recall that Cannon and Alyssa Scott took their son Zen to the doctor when they noticed something unusual in his breathing. At two months, the boy was diagnosed with brain cancer.

Nick adds that he didn’t want his son to cling to hospital cars, so he gave up chemotherapy.

“For a person who has had to deal with chemotherapy, I know what this pain is. I didn’t want this to happen to a two month old baby. I didn’t want him to suffer. “– said Cannon, who is diagnosed with lupus and has already had to resort to chemotherapy to treat the disease.

“Every month we celebrated his birthday, we took it as a victory,” he adds.

Zen died on December 5th.
