Next week, fuel prices will fall again, albeit slightly – for this Monday they are expected to fall, however, only by 95 gasoline: in the main national oil companies, “the evolution of quotations in euros indicates a drop in prices to 1 cent per liter of gasoline 95, while while diesel will maintain its registered price last week, a source in the sector told Multinews.

The trend is also repeating at private brand gas stations, which usually operate near hypermarkets, with “a €0.01128 decrease in the price of petrol and €0.0104 for diesel,” another source said.

So after all, filling a tank with 60 liters of gasoline costs 0.6 euros cheaper. In the diesel version, there will be no changes when leaving the service station.

After a week-long decline in diesel prices – after two weeks of strong growth – this time the price will not change, so it remains higher than gasoline 95. According to official data Directorate General of Energy and Geology (DGEG)disclosed on their page, the average price of regular 95 petrol is currently 1712 euros per litre. A liter of diesel fuel costs 1,822 euros.

The latest European Commission Fuel Bulletin states that Portugal ranks 15th among the most expensive gasolines of 95 out of 27 countries in the European Union, even if this is below the European average of 1,821.81 euros per litre. Diesel takes 16th place in the European ranking with an average cost of 1908.87 euros / liter.
