New York Attorney Laetitia James announced in early August that an independent investigation by Gov. Andrew Cuomo concluded that he had sexually harassed several women and former government employees, creating a “hostile” work environment. An investigation by two outside lawyers concluded that the Cuomo administration was “filled with fear and intimidation.”
Cuomo and his team, according to the investigation, even worked together in revenge against a former employee who accused him of harassment. Cuomo denies everything.
Bennett, Lindsay Boylan, Anna Liss and Karen Hinton, former advisers or employees of the governor, accused him of sexual harassment.
Andrew Cuomo, 63, is the son of former New York Governor Mario Cuomo. The Democrat was even considered a future candidate for the US presidency.
