New Resident Evil Special: New Version Of Jill

From the beginning of the week, Sony Pictures presents a series of special videos about the main characters Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, and this Friday (29) it’s Jill Valentine’s turn (Hannah John-Kamen, from Ant-Man and the Wasp) get yours. She may not be wearing her classic padded shoulder uniform, but at least the classic sandwich joke is present.

Link appears in a curious scene in which officers from STARS, the Raccoon City Police Department, appear relaxed in a restaurant. This is one way to show a little more personality of the main character, a fan favorite of the series, who in the new version seems to be featured prominently alongside characters such as Leon (Avan Jogia) and Wesker (Tom Hopper).

Sorry for the pun, he’s an actor in Umbrella Academy, including the one who appears next to Kamen, citing Jill’s version as “a little crazy,” while the actress emphasizes the protagonist’s loyalty and strength. The scenes also show part of the mansion incident, which hides a secret biological weapons laboratory, one of the film scenarios, which will also be very focused on the destruction of the city of Raccoon City.

A feature film directed by Johannes Roberts (deep fear) wants to position itself as a more accurate adaptation to games, compared to Paul Anderson’s hexalogy (Monster Hunter). According to the director who wrote the script, it’s also a way to show a different side of the main characters and tell their stories in a different way, with more emotional depth and new elements.

The special edition also features a few seconds of previously unseen scenes from the film, including the appearance of an infected bird, which also resembles one of the classic monsters from the original games. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City there is also Robbie Amell (Nanny) no papel de Chris Redfield, Neal McDonough (Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li) as William Birkin and Kaia Scodelario (Maze runner) playing Claire, who should be one of the main characters of the plot.

The film opens in Brazil on December 2, exclusively in theaters. So far, there are no forecasts for the arrival of streaming services.
