Google Maps has established itself as a unique tool for those who want to travel the planet from the comfort of their home. This is not limited to a mapping service and goes much further by showing images of every place we visit.

Google is constantly updating and introducing new features on Maps and it will now have a new feature. It’s still only tested by a handful of users, but is sure to revolutionize this desktop service.

First time on Google Maps

Many new features have been added to Google Maps recently. They want to improve the use of this service by making it easier and more practical for everyday use on both smartphones and desktops.

One of these potentially new developments is currently being tested. He wants to give Google Maps a feature that doesn't exist right now, so that users can easily support their searches and visits.

It may well revolutionize what the desktop has to offer.

From what has been seen, Google Maps will now have an area where users can save the places they want. They will be placed at the bottom of the dock as an icon of the desired location, which you can then see as visited.

To add these locations to this new map service dock, Google created a new button for that. With the name "Dock to Bottom", it will try to put this selected location into a new dock that will be available. Removal will also be a straightforward process.

Save visited places soon

We're still a long way from making this new feature available to everyone on Google Maps. Research giant is testing still very gradually this novelty, in order to evaluate its usability and the interest that it can arouse among users.

Google is expected to do well in these tests and bring the news to users. This will definitely be a significant improvement for this map service and will make it easier to use Google Maps by marking the places and points you want to visit again later.
