NBMiner Bypasses Nvidia’s Mining Restriction System

Cryptocurrency mining software NBMiner in its latest version, it managed to bypass the technology of limiting the mining of Nvidia’s cryptocurrency, which is applied to the new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 3070 Ti and 3060 Ti video cards with the designation LHR (Lite Hash Rate). This technology was applied to prevent the use of these graphics cards for mining cryptocurrencies, which allowed Nvidia to sell CMP HX models specifically for this purpose.

According to those responsible for the software, a solution has been found that allows you to restore up to 70% of the mining capacity of a video card with LHR technology, and this software is compatible with any operating system Windows and Linux, as well as with any type of controllers. … The only limitation is that this feature only allows you to mine Ethereum, although there is a good chance this system can be applied to other cryptocurrencies.

So far, some users have already confirmed the capabilities of this new NBMiner feature, demonstrating that the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti achieves a hashrate (mining power) of 80 MH / s, an RTX 3070 Ti of around 50 MH / s and an RTX 3060 Ti of around 40 MH / s. These are not extraordinary numbers, especially in the case of the RTX 3060 Ti, as the RTX 3060 delivers around 50 MH / s, but they clearly demonstrate that it is possible to get around the limitations imposed by Nvidia.
