An investigation by the Russian opposition team of Alexei Navalny from the Anti-Corruption Foundation, published by CNN Portugal this Thursday, he uncovered a network of investments made in Portugal by Russian politicians close to Vladimir Putin.

Tatiana Gorikova, Russia’s deputy prime minister in charge of social policy, labor and health care, bought a mansion in Spain with employees in Russia but registered it in the name of a Portuguese company. The address of this company is another mansion. So the Anti-Corruption Foundation arrived in Portugal, where he found “a few more companies” and even two more mansions.

“This investigation began with the fact that we went to Spain, where we discovered a luxurious villa owned by Tatyana Golikova. The owner of this villa is a Portuguese company, and that is what brought us to Portugal, where we discovered numerous assets,” the CNN Portugal Foundation said.

Tatyana Gorikova is married to Viktor Khristenko, former Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, and is the stepmother of Vladimir Khristenko. O The stepson of the ruler is connected with all the affairs of the familywho have been in Portugal since at least 2012.

None of the investments have been sanctioned by the European Union. Therefore, Alexei Navalny’s Russian opposition team wants the Portuguese government to impose sanctions on Tatyana Golikova, her husband and stepson.

The Anti-Corruption Foundation turned to governments not only with a letter to the executive branch of Portugal, but also with a request France and Spain sanction the legacy of the Russian ruler and your network of friends and family.
