Miguel Oliveira was hit by Iker Lecuona’s motorcycle two laps before the end of the Portimão de Moto GP race and had to stop the race.

The Portuguese pilot was evacuated on a stretcher, but after a few minutes he was already on his feet and, apparently, was healthy.

It all happened in the left turn. Miguel was in tenth place, and Lecuon tried to overtake from the inside. The Spaniard’s bike “slipped” and completely hit the Portuguese in the area of the left leg.

Miguel Oliveira even had to be evacuated on a stretcher from the track due to fears of a possible fracture – fortunately, this was not confirmed. According to Sport TV, the pilot had to travel to the medical center to be watched more closely.

Portuguese KTM started 17th and made a sensational start, finishing ninth in just two laps. Until lap 23, Miguel always fought Paul Espargaro and Alex Rince for ninth place until he lost places to Enea Bastianini and Brad Binder in the final.

The great leader of the day was Francesco Bagnaya, leader from start to finish. Joan Mir finished second, and Jack Miller finished third, and already world champion Fabio Quartararo retired after falling.

Ducati has won the world title of constructors in Portimão.
