Merkel’s exposure of American espionage compromises Denmark

SAccording to the German daily Süddeutsche Zeitung and the public television channels NDR and WDR, cited by the Spanish news agency Efe, Danish services helped the US National Security Agency (NSA) to wiretap the cell phones of Merkel and the then foreign minister.
