Purchased in March, sold in May; Matt Kalil’s stay in Pasadena was brief but successful.

Just two months after spending $ 3,812 million for a 103-year-old house overlooking Arroyo Seco, NFL veterans and former prominent USC players have sold the place for $ 4,425 million, records show. That’s a $ 613,000 profit to overcome the attack.

Blending Colonial and Craftsman style, the wooden-clad house sits on lush land and is hidden behind a dramatic gate of nearly two hectares. A circular road and broad front yard approach the house, which has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms in nearly 5,000 square feet.

Pastel colors of pink, blue and yellow attract attention in the living room including a library with built-in shelves, a yoga studio with curved window walls and an updated kitchen. The largest room is in the living room complete with wooden walls, hardwood floors, and a Craftsman’s fireplace.

Another fireplace links the main suite, which is equipped with two walk-in closets and opens onto a spacious two-story balcony. Below, column-lined terraces lead to lawns and swimming pools. Angles and waiting rooms across the field include Arroyo, the mountains and Rose Bowl.

Kalil was selected into the Pro Bowl as a beginner after being recruited as a fourth overall in the 2012 draft by the Vikings. The 30-year-old also spent two seasons with the Panthers and signed with Texas last year but was released before the start of the season.

He has a different bond with Southern California. A native of Corona, he played soccer at Servite High School in Anaheim before becoming the first All-American team at USC in 2011.

Nate Poznick and Joshua Silva from HLS Realty hold the list.
