Marilia Mendonça was one of those killed in the tragic plane crash on Friday in Brazil. The singer was on her way to the concert.
The artist’s makeup artist, Eduardo Guimaraes, was also going to attend the same show to prepare the artist, but he was not on the plane with the rest of the crew. According to Quem magazine, Eduardo drove into the city and was already at the hotel when he learned of the accident.
In Goiânia, following the Brazilian artist, the makeup artist spoke to the magazine and said: “I am grateful for my life, but the loss is much greater … I lost my great friends. alive, I’m fine, but the balance is negative. I wanted my friends to be together, ”he said.
“I ended up driving straight from Sao Paulo to Belo Horizonte. And from there I took a car to Caratingu. They sent me a photo asking if it was her plane. And I also said, “No, I think they are going.” then everything happened and such is the fate, ”he explained.
Eduardo Guimaraes also stressed that 26-year-old Marilia Mendonça is going through a good period of her life. “She realized herself as a person, physically seeing the results that certainly influenced her. She was in a very happy phase, ”he said.
“Last weekend there were four days of the show and it looked like she was about to explode with happiness. It seems that it was goodbye, the last moments that need to be closed with a golden key, ”he concluded.
