“Loaf of bread” from Volkswagen has arrived

Are you a fan of the mythical Volkswagen "loaf of bread"? Then there is the good news! Volkswagen Multivan T7 is a new proposal of the German concern, which may be the successor to Sharan or Volkswagen Caravelle.

The new Multivan T7 is based on the MQB platform and is seventh generation of the model. With a very modern design, the Multivan has also evolved in terms of aerodynamics, making the van more efficient.

This is a van 7 seats (spacious) and inside a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch center touchscreen are available. This panel displays the infotainment system data.

As for the engine, there are several versions. The main version of the Volkswagen Multivan T7 is called eHybrid, as it is equipped with a 1.4 TSI engine and an electric motor that guarantees a total power of 218 hp. The electric part of the car, which makes it a plug-in hybrid, guarantees a range of only 50 km thanks to a 13 kWh battery.

As mentioned, this van is available with other engines, both petrol and diesel. A version 1.5 TSI with 136 hp is available for gasoline. or 2.0 TSI with 204 hp. As for the diesel, it is equipped with a 2.0 TDI engine with 150 hp.

The Volkswagen Multivan T7 is expected to go on sale in late 2021 and prices are not yet available.
