Diogo Hota’s goal paved the way for Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Norwich in the first round of the English League.

Hoth, who started in Jurgen Klopp’s team, distinguished himself in the 26th minute with a pass from Mohamed Salah, and in the 61st minute was replaced by Roberto Firmino, who scored the guests’ second goal (65).

Liverpool’s third goal was scored just two minutes later, thanks to Salah, who was also scored by Firmino.

Watford secured and beat Aston Villa 3-2, while Brighton were the only side to win away games from the start of the day, putting themselves 2-1 at Burnley.
