Lidl recently announced that it will support the price of charging for electric vehicles, thereby ensuring that this surcharge is not passed on to its customers.

For every charge made at one of the more than 50 electric charging stations that count from north to south of the country, Lidl Portugal will not charge a 16.57 cents charge from OPC operators supporting this value, disclosed company in release...

Thus, Lidl will keep the final transaction cost at € 0.08. per minute, no additional activation fee, at a lower price than the market price. These rates will represent 6% of the final Operational Component Price (OPC) charged to Lidl customers, assuming an average charge of 30 minutes.

Thus, buyers will save 16.57 cents. In addition, Lidl enhances the convenience for your customer: loading the vehicle while shopping.

It should be remembered that Lidl has pledged to establish a strategic network of more than 40 charging points for electric vehicles by February 2021, allowing users to travel from north to south of the country and guaranteeing the necessary autonomy for everyone.
