Campaigning for the government of Minas, Lauren Figueiredo (PSOL) Brochure at Sete Square, Belo Horizonte Central, this Thursday (15). She was accompanied by the candidate for lieutenant governor Ana Azzevedo and representatives of the party running for the state legislature. During the agenda, the candidate emphasized the need to increase women’s political power and at the same time pointed out that the world’s problems are the result of governments run by men.

For Lauren, it is precisely political power that is currently lacking for women, while the role assigned to them is to take care of their homes and families. “The world ruled by male power has come to an end. It is a world of bombs, pollution, political violence, persecution, slave labor, unemployment and starvation. We women are the ones who support our families in communities. We are the ones who care for the oldest and youngest, who are responsible for social reproduction, for the invisible housework, and those who are still entering the labor market to help support our families. What we lack is political power,” Lauren defended.

The candidate indicated that 43% of women in Minas are heads of families, people who demand government policy. “who fear that their children are killed by police violence, who are robbed, who often do not have remedies aimed at them in case of domestic violence, who also suffer the most from hunger and poverty,” he said. .

Lauryn’s campaign is still in the dark. According to the website of the Higher Electoral Court (TSE), at the moment the difference between expenditures and funds received is a positive balance of R$ 264,686.16.
