Model Laila da Costa, who worked with Fatima Lopez, passed away on Monday at the age of 24, the Observer confirmed with a stylist. The young woman worked for the FaceModels agency in Italy and was found dead at home on Monday in Bologna.

According to Fatima Lopez, Italian doctors believe that a heart attack could be the cause of death, although the model does not suffer from any health problems. “It was unexpected,” the stylist admits.

Laila da Costa did not show up for work on Monday, raising suspicion among some colleagues who were concerned that they did not know her whereabouts. It was then found lifeless at home.
